Here is a poster I recently did as part of a Collaboration with Chris Jennerjohn. This was created for an event on campus benefiting One Million Bones, hosted by the Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Club. I was really pleased with the outcome and loved having the chance to work with another artist on a project, definitely something I wouldn’t mind doing again!

Isn’t it funny how an accident which would normally be traumatic for anyone who creates things, such as water falling onto a project and ruining it, can sometimes birth new ways of approaching something? That’s what happened to me at the start of the summer… I accidently spilt some water on a stippling piece I was doing, and thought, “well, that looks cool.” And so this little experiment has been going on all summer long and into the school year.

It all started with this one:

And I continued on with other various interpretations. I have started to experiment with adding color and will continue to do so, and possibly do some pieces that are completely color with no black. Next step: Experiment with different subject matter besides human skulls.
